Overview

HM GROUP LEBANON

Founded in 1989 by a Family of architects, HM Group is a real estate enterprise with several projects in prime areas of Beirut, Lebanon. The Hachem Family develops and owns both commercial and residential properties under two separate lines of business; real estate development and rental. Our reach consists of more than 145,000 sqm of residential apartments, offices and shops throughout Solidere, Clemenceau, Ras Beirut and Mousaitbeh.

After a successful development in Mechref in the 1990’s which was mostly financed through a bank loan, the Group decided to contribute in the campaign of Late Prime Minister H.E. Rafik El Hariri to re-develop Beirut Central District after 15 years of war, through the acquisition and restoration of two historical buildings, Marfaa 229 and Marfaa 146, that were completed in 1999 and 2001 respectively.

Architects at heart and driven by an ambitious entrepreneurship, the group then successfully developed since 2009 several buildings in Beirut in partnership with International Architectural firms; including one of the tallest towers built in the city (37 stories high) – “La Citadelle de Beyrouth” , and a Landmark project in the heart of downtown – “Park Palace”.

The group strongly believes in the potential of Lebanon. As the country is located at the crossroads of East and West, we seek to develop and offer projects combining both the richness of Eastern traditions with the Western way of life: A reflection of Lebanon’s true identity. Even with the instability of the economic and security situations, we have confidence in the future of our country.

HM GROUP AFRICA

Hm group specializes in the construction and real estate fields in Africa. The Group opened its second office in Dakar – Senegal, in 2017, and was able to participate in the realization and construction of various projects in Senegal.

Being born and raised in Africa, it seemed only evident for the founders of HM Group to go back to their roots and first home: Senegal.

We trust that Africa is the Future. A future set in Innovation and sustainability, rather than industrialization. We thus aspire to participate in the development of this emergent country.

Our ambition is to stay true to Senegal’s cultural identity, while making sustainability and innovation our highest priority.
